League Format

The Norwich Netball League runs all year around with Summer and Winter seasons.

Summer season runs from March – July and the Winter season runs from Sept – March.

Summer Season

Our Summer season consists of two leagues: Summer Competitive League and CVL

CVL – Thursday @ Hellesdon High School, Middletons Lane

CVL is played every Thursday during school time at Hellesdon High, Norwich.

This league is aimed and designed to introduce new inexperienced teams to the NNL and to allow beginner umpires to gain some experience. Please bear this in mind when entering this league.

Teams play each other once and are then divided in to play off groups to replay teams of a similar level for the remainder of the season.

Matches are played at 7 and 8pm with 12 minute quarters and intervals of 2, 3, 2 minutes.

Applications for this league must be submitted by 31st July (Winter) 31st January (Summer)

This is a great introductory league if you are new to the NNL as you will get to meet lots of teams, umpires and understand how the league is run.

Summer Competitive League – Multiple Venues across Norwich

The NNL Summer competitive league is made up of 5 divisions. Div. 1-4 has 8 teams in each and teams play each other twice over the course of the season. Division 5/6 is a trial of combining our previous Division 5 and 6 into one bigger division where teams only play each other once.
